The week of April 18 – 21, our team attended the Rx Summit in Atlanta, Georgia. This yearly conference showcases the great work being done across the country in relation to substance use (specifically prescription use and abuse). It also reminds us how much work and dedication is still needed . The past year included the most overdoses we have ever seen as a country, making it clear that there is still so much to be done. Our team was able to attend vital sessions about how to move our communities forward, while also tabling at our very own booth. We connected with individuals from different professions and areas of the country. It was great to learn from others and share how our county is working in prevention and recovery. Thank you to all of those who we met!
