CARES Recovery Corp

CARES Recovery Corps is a cutting-edge grassroots community-level approach aimed at improving people’s lives by delivering peer recovery support services directly to those most in need. When accepted into our CARES Recovery Corps Project, you will be trained, at no cost, in the nationally recognized Certified Peer Recovery Specialist curriculum; virtual classes begin 3/14/23 on Tuesdays and Thursdays for eight weeks.

Session 1: Bank On It, May 17th
Learn how to build a positive relationship with a banking institution and available banking services

Session 2: Check It Out, June 21st
Helps users learn about opening and managing checking accounts, as well as how to use and balance a checkbook.

Session 3: Pay Yourself First, July 26th
Teaches Participants ways to save money and meet their savings goals.

Session 4: To Your Credit, August 23rd
Teaches participants how to read a credit report and how to build and repair credit history.

Join us at The Gravity Vault for free indoor rock climbing sessions! Sessions will be Every 3rd Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:30 PM except December due to the holiday.
You don't need to have climbing experience, the only requirement to attend is 48 hours of continuous sobriety. REGISTER ASAP! Each session is limited to the first 14 people who register through The Phoenix: www.thephoenix.org (Registration will open 2 weeks prior to the event.)

St. Clare's Behavioral Health 50 Morris Ave., Denville

A family support meeting for loved ones of those in active substance use or in recovery. CRAFT (Community Reinforcement and Family Training) is a comprehensive behavioral program that teaches families to optimize their impact on substance-using family members while avoiding confrontation and detachment.
