Preventionist (among many other PIK employees) attended the New Jersey Prevention Network (NJPN) conference in Atlantic City on May 17, 2024. This was NJPN’s 24th annual conference – and the first one back in person since 2020. Team members divided and conquered various sessions being offered such as “Intersection of Older Adults and SUD: A Case Study”, “Up & Downstream Approaches to Prevention, treatment, recovery, and harm reduction”, “Innovative Harm Reduction Strategies: Overdose Prevention centers”, and many more that can be found listed on NJPN’s website.  The day was full of amazing conversations, presentations, resources, and connections – there was so much information NJPN provided attendees with books to take and continue the conversation!  Thank you to NJPN for hosting such a great in-person conference – see you again next year!
