What are your primary duties?
- I provide coordination and assistance to local health departments on matters pertaining to COVID–positive and COVID-exposed persons who are in need of isolation, quarantine, or other social services.
- I act as the coordinator for the Morris County Overdose Fatality Review Team (OFRT). OFRT is a community-based review team with the goal of preventing future overdose deaths by reviewing individuals who have fatally overdosed in Morris County.
- I am a Mental Health Associate for Passaic Hope One
Where did you go to school and what did you study? B.A. in Psychology from Central University of Iowa. M.S.W. from Rutgers University-New Brunswick.
How many years have you worked in the field? 6 years in Prevention
Why do you work in the field? I’m passionate about helping individuals and communities who are experiencing barriers to health and wellness and drawn to opportunities that identify and mobilize resources that empower others to thrive. I’m grateful to belong to Prevention is Key Team and continue to do this rewarding work every day.
