What are your primary duties? Certified Peer Recovery Specialist at CARES that is a part of initiatives like Opiate Overdose Recovery Program (OORP), Morris County Correctional Facility, Narcan Trainer, CPRS Trainer, and Hope One Peer Recovery Specialist.  IDRC counselor and classroom facilitator.  

Where did you go to school and what did you study? Obtained my Certified Peer Recovery Specialist training at CARES and obtained my CADC through County College of Morris. 

How many years have you worked in the field? 6 years

Why do you work in the field? I am a person in recovery and am dedicated to intervening and advocating for individuals that struggle with substance use disorder in my community, with the goal of making long term recovery possible. I hope to bring my passion for recovery and unbiased attitude to CARES by providing a safe, comfortable, and nonjudgmental environment.
