How many years have you worked in the field? 6 years

Why do you work in the field? As a family member whose life has been dramatically affected by substance use/misuse my passion is to provide as much family support as possible. To remove barriers for those who feel they have no voice and make sure that family members know they are not alone and that help is available for their self-care and the care of their loved ones and to know where to find and in engage in that help. Prior to working at PIK I was in the dental field where I worked as an Office Manager for 16 years.
