What are your primary duties? I provide individual (one-on-one) support, system navigation for recoverees and their families, and provide resources, referrals, and handle requests for assistance. I also oversee the provision of peer recovery support services development, coordination, implementation and management at local level.
Where did you go to school and what did you study? I attended Seton Hall University
How many years have you worked in the field? 20+ years
Why do you work in the field? The reason I enjoy working in this field is to assist individuals that struggle with Substance Use / Mental Health Recovery resources. Also, to provide a non-judgmental approach towards their recovery path. Hopefully assist in changing their lives for the better.
