What are your primary duties? Engaging with participants on the street, offering peer recovery or any type of treatment they desire. Handing out food and supplies in the community. Assist participants in getting into treatment, detox, or offering referrals to food banks, mental health services, and MAT providers.

How many years have you worked in the field? 4 years
Why do you work in the field? To help people who are in the position I once was in. To spread awareness about peer recovery and how it is different from the usual AA/NA meetings.
