Are you looking for an opportunity to pay it forward?

Is helping others to find and maintain a path of recovery from problematic substance use something that speaks to you?

Our new CARES Recovery Corps Project is the perfect opportunity for you to become a critical part of the solution to your community’s struggle with problematic substance use, especially the opiate crisis.

CARES Recovery Corps is a cutting-edge grassroots community-level approach aimed at improving people’s lives by delivering peer recovery support services directly to those most in need.

To apply, click the Apply Now button below and fill out the application form. If you’re selected, a member of our team will reach out either by phone or email to schedule an interview.

When you enroll in our CARES Recovery Corps Project, you will be trained at no cost in the nationally recognized Certified Peer Recovery Specialist curriculum and then be eligible to participate in a 500-hour internship program with CARES; enabling you to earn your Certified Peer Recovery Specialist certification in New Jersey. You’ll then be able to take those skills and knowledge back to your community and truly help those in need, creating your own community of recovery. Services will be provided in Passaic and Morris Counties.
